Someone once asked me where I heard about all these soft openings, new restaurants and public events etc... I would recommend Twitter as the best source for this, but if you aren't on Twitter, and care for what I think is pretty good at the moment, I will start updating it here!

03/01/12 - Lots of lovely new openings!
Happy New year everyone! There are lots of lovely openings looming in the not so distant future. I could write them all out, or I could just let Hot Dinners do it for me/us. Lots of good ones on that list, check it out.
-------------------------------------------------16/12/11 Pitt Cue Co Returns! - I popped into see Tommy and Neil from Pitt Cue this week at their new residence of 1 Newburgh Street. I managed to snaffle a rather amazing pulled pork bun and a few mouthfuls of the pickled shiitake and beef cheek concoction. Smoky tender meat paired with sharp vinegary pickles, damn fine. They plan on opening in early January, so keep an eye on their site or their twitter feed for more details.

14/12/11 Christmas Menu at Dishoom - I got invited along last week to have a taste of Dishooms Christmas Menu, and it was good. Very good actually. Pairing naughty (boozy) chai concoctions with a veritable banquet of rather lovely things, I would highly recommend that you head on down and give it a go. The Christmas Menu is on until the 24th December, and is worth the visit for the turkey raan alone
